In the 10K, Hughes crossed the line at the 38:48.54 mark. Three distance runners placed in the top-1o for the Blue Demons as Stephanie Hughes, Terah Cheatham, and Claire O'Brien checked in at second, fourth and eighth place, respectively. The junior also placed in the top-10 in the discus. Lauren Bales placed ninth with her time of 1:11.60Įarning her first BIG EAST qualifying mark in the hammer throw, MacFabe placed third overall after hitting a distance of 45.19m.

Klein tallied her second first-place finish of the season, winning the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:07.23. Laura Wilson clocked in at 1:05.09 to finish in ninth. and finished his day in fourth place with an NCAA Regional qualifying distance.ĭespite the cold and windy Chicago weather, Coffey was able to overcome the adversity and placed first in the 400m with a time of 1:00.40. In addition, Brad Millar competed in the hammer throw at the Sun Angel Track Classic in Tempe, Ariz. Kyra Coffey and Meredith Klein each stood at the top of the podium in their events, while Virginia MacFabe earned a BIG EAST Conference qualifying mark.
